Limo wearing historical plates. The rear of the landau top was completely redone with duct tape. It was a 6 door and when it turned I saw the two rear doors on the passenger side were black instead of silver.

Not really a bad idea.

It’s not too hard to get vintage/historical plates if the state uses loose definitions. I’ve seen extremely ratty 80s Japanese cars stanced with horrible stretched tyres in Illinois wearing antique tags.

Around here it just means the vehicle is over 25 years old. There’s supposed to be a mileage per year restriction, but it’s not actually checked.

It’s pretty common to see folks with really short commutes get them because insurance is often cheaper due to the maximum mileage you’re supposed to drive per year.

That would be a great use or as a carpool vehicle given how cheaply you can buy limos that age.

My cousins ex husband did a group by on one with some guys he worked with and they drove it to baseball/football games.

As far as I know, Town Cars are the only vehicles exempted from Uber’s age requirement.
